NCN Route 62 starts on this coast at Southport and runs clear across the country. Ride its western, largely traffic-free miles — including the old Cheshire Lines railway path inland towards Aintree.
Back at base
Wash the bikes down, dry the kit in the boot room, refuel at the 14-seat table and debrief in the bar. The gates keep everything safe behind you.
