Liverpool waterfront, 2 to 8 May 2027
In May 2027 Liverpool hosts the UK's first inclusive sport and culture festival, a week that puts elite Paralympic sport alongside a disabled led arts and culture programme. It runs across the waterfront venues: the M and S Bank Arena, the Exhibition Centre, Salthouse Dock, the Albert Dock and the Pier Head. Warren House is thirty five minutes up the coast with room for fourteen, so a group, a family or a club can share one house for the week instead of scattering across hotels.
What is on
The festival brings together elite Paralympic sport and a world class arts programme led by disabled artists, spread across the docks and the arena rather than tucked away in one venue. The waterfront is walkable end to end, the Albert Dock and Pier Head are in the middle of it, and Liverpool's museums and galleries are a few minutes further on. It is the kind of week where you will want a base with space to come back to, rather than a room to sleep in.
Getting there
The Merseyrail Southport line runs from Ainsdale, five minutes away by car or taxi, into Liverpool city centre. The waterfront venues are a short walk or a very short hop from the central stations.
About twenty five miles down the coast road and the motorway. There is parking at the house for several cars, so a group travelling separately can all arrive on their own terms.
Liverpool John Lennon is around forty five minutes away, Manchester about an hour, both with good rail and road links back up to the coast.
Before you book
Warren House is a family home rather than a purpose built accessible property, and we would rather be straight with you than have you arrive to a surprise. If step free access, doorway widths, bathroom layout or anything else matters to your group, please get in touch before you book and we will walk you through the house honestly, room by room, so you can decide whether it suits you.

It is one of the nicest. The beaches at Ainsdale and Formby are quiet before the school holidays, the pinewoods are at their best, and Southport is a short drive up the road for a change of scene between festival days.
